What are skin growths?
Skin growths are accumulation of various types of cells that look different from the normal surrounding skin. They may be raised or flat and range in colour from dark brown or black to flesh-coloured or red. They may be present at birth or develop later as we age.

Are they safe to remove?
In most cases, skin growths are non-cancerous. The treatment is performed by a professional, certified technician who has been trained to identify the different types of skin growths for the appropriate treatment. All treatments are performed using the strictest sanitary procedures.

How do we remove?
We have two methods available for removal. A Herbal cream and a High Frequency Probe. Based on the skin irregularity, our technician will choose the appropriate method of removal.

Are the treatments permanent?
Yes! Once the skin irregularity has been treated, it does not return. However, if your skin is prone to these types of growths, new ones may appear elsewhere on your face and body.

What is the cost?
Consultations are required before any treatment. Cost is based on what type of removal is best, as well the size of the irregularities and how many are to be removed. Prices are given for each irregularity, and grouping of multiple removals. HST will be added to your service price.

Herbal Cream

This topical preparation is an all natural cream that is a derivative of the cashew nut. This safe and effective treatment is relatively painless.

The majority of skin irregularities are removed non surgically in just one treatment. There will be some down time after the treatment.

You can expect the area to be slightly red and the skin irregularity will turn into a scab. Healing time depends on the size of the irregularity removed and each clients individual healing rate.

The area will heal with minimal to no scarring depending on the size.

High-Frequency Probe
This treatment uses a high-frequency electrical current that delivers precise electrical sparks through a micro needle electrode at different amplitudes to dehydrate a skin growth.

At almost all times, the needle remains above the skin surface and the current sparks across the gap causing dehydration of the skin growth.

As the growth is removed, a natural protective scab develops that covers the treated area. There is no blood associated with the treatment.

Once the scab falls off, the treated area will heal and new healthy skin will return and gradually take on the colour of the surrounding tissue. In most cases there is no visible indication of the previous growth.
