Lash Lift
If you want longer looking curlier lashes without the maintenance of lash extensions, consider a Lash Lift and Tint.

What is a Lash Lift?

Basically,  it is a perm for your eyelashes.
A solution is applied that semi-permanently curls the lashes up. This naturally opens up the eye, similar to the effect of a lash curler-but with way more staying power.

How long does it last?

Lash Lifts last until the lash falls out in its natural growth cycle. This varies for each person but typically will last 6-8 week

Lash Lift | $80
Lash Lift with Tint | $90

Eyebrow Microblading

What is Microblading?

Microblading is also known as Eyebrow Embroidery or tattooing. It is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup, but unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent lasting only 1-3 years. The length of time is dependent on each client’s skin type and skincare routine. It is a great option for clients wanting to achieve defined, shaped and fuller eyebrows. Clients who have lost or over tweezed their eyebrows will see dramatic improvements and fuller eyebrows with microblading.

The procedure is performed with a hand tool that features ultra fine needles, which gently etch each ‘hair’ stroke into the skin. This will result in a very natural and realistic shaped eyebrow. Each client will receive a specific pigment that is matched to his or her hair colour, resulting in a natural look.

Is it Painful?

Many people associate tattooing with long, uncomfortable pain. However, Microblading is far less painful. With the use of a high quality numbing cream, the majority of clients do not feel much more than a scratching sensation.

Clients with sensitive skin will sometimes feel a stronger sensation. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area is expected and completely normal. The resulting redness/swelling is similar to a sunburn.

How long does it take?

Clients can expect the first session to last 2½ – 3 hours. During this session, the technician will measure, shape and style the perfect look for you. Once the shape is decided, the colour selection process begins and a suitable colour is selected. Once the client is satisfied, the Microblading procedure begins.

Follow up appointments are necessary, the second session needs to be scheduled after 4-6 weeks from the first session. This session is not as long, expect 1½ to 2 hours to complete.

How will I heal?

Right after the session, clients will have slight redness and the pigmentation colour will be darker then final results. This is completely normal and part of the process. The colour will fade up to 50% as the client heals. Clients will notice some scabbing and it is important not to pick or remove scabs as this could cause damage to the skin or effect the outcome of microblading treatment. Scabbing or flaking might last up to 7 days. The pigmentation colour will keep lightening as your skin heals and the final colour appears after 30 days.

What happens during the touch up session?

This appointment occurs 4-6 weeks after the initial session. Pigment colour may need to be added and thickness may need to be altered. Clients with oily skin most often need a deeper shade as the oil in the skin will lighten the pigment.

This session should not be done before 4 weeks, as pigment colour has not fully settled into the skin. Most importantly, this is to prevent scar damage as the tissue requires time to completely heal.

How long does it last?

This answer is dependant on the client. Important factors include skin type, age and skincare routine. Clients that tend to tan or use products with AHA or glycolic acid will fade faster as their skin will resurface faster.

It is highly recommended to refresh at 12 to 18 months after the first session. With the pigment not as deep as a traditional tattoo, the pigment will fade over time resulting in a slight shadow. Previous clients have found that the pigment will last between 1 to 3 years.

Consultation

Free consultations are required to ensure this is the best decision for you. There are important factors to consider before Microblading can be performed, as well as informing clients of the after treatment procedures.

As with all cosmetic procedures, clients should not make decisions lightly and understand the results of the treatment. We always recommend clients do personal research and have an understanding of the procedure, especially for concerned or nervous clients. Our Microblade technician has received the highest level of training and certification. She will ensure that clients are satisfied and have received their desired results. It is important to remember our faces are not perfectly symmetrical, and eyebrows are always “sisters, not twins”.
